Hatched in 2008, Blue Bird Bake Shop began with a small group of good friends and a common love of home baked treats. Months went by, recipes were developed, cupcakes were tasted, and tasted, and tasted, and plans were put in place. In 2010 we opened the doors of our retail shop in the Audubon Park Garden District of Orlando!

Baked from scratch and in small batches, our cupcakes are made fresh daily. Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, creamy butter, real fruit and Dutch-processed cocoa are just a few of the quality ingredients we use. Our passion for baking doesn’t stop there. Brownies, cookies, scones, muffins and other bakery fare are also on the menu. New recipes are always coming together in our kitchen, so you never know what unexpected treat you may be taking home.

Who loves coffee? We do, we do! In 2012 we excitedly launched our own brand, Top Hat Coffee. Our beans are fair trade, organically grown and down right delicious. Dark roast, light roast, and decaf are all available by the cup or whole bean in the bag. Made just for you specialty coffee drinks are also offered. Our signature Toasted Marshmallow Latte shouldn’t be missed.

    I am, undoubtedly, the biggest cupcake snob on the planet. I used to make a living selling baked goods at a different time in my life, and no one EVER lives up to my standards…I mean like NEVER! But, I am always willing to try and see if a place can come close. Well…FINALLY, I found a place that has a cupcake that I like. Not so much like, but LOVE! Very moist, the icing was not too sweet, the cake was not dense but not too fluffy…just a fantastic cupcake!
